I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone on the committee for all your hard work and dedication through out the year to make this year’s annul outing a huge success well done.

Thanks to all the Taxi drivers who took the time off in spite of the bus driver’s strike to give all there invaluable time to all the children in care and all our special guests the Ukranian Children and families,

The steward Jennette, who opened the O S C Club up at 07-00 A M and provided the tea coffee and refreshment to all our guests and visitors also Chairman Alan Edwards, Manager Bernie Crilly, who were both on hand serving the refreshments.

Special thanks to the Chief Constable Serena Kennedy who judged the best dressed Taxi and handed all the goodie bags to all the children a long with The Lord Mayor of Liverpool Councilor Roy Gladden who also judged the best dressed taxi and also handed all the goodie bags out, Congratulation to Marc Curo 1st Nicky Miley 2nd, Bryce Mc Niven 3rd well done, Thanks to Debbie Bennett for providing 3 limousines and drivers Ann, Garry, John, thanks to Bill Langcake for providing two of his luxury coaches and drivers Chris,Dave,

Liverpool Taxi Drivers Children In Care Outing Fund 2021


It gives me great pleasure to announce that due to the cancellation of our 28th golf championship 2020, which was cancelled due to  COVID-19, we will be hosting two golf days in 2021.

With our return to West Derby Golf Club on Wednesday 2nd June 2021, followed by the evening Presentation at OSC Club73 Derby Lane L13 6QE.

We are also hosting our annual Golf Championship at Lee Park Golf Club on Wednesday 1st September 2021, followed by the evening Presentation also at O S C Club. It would be good to see the return of some of the players who played in the first golf day that was held at Hoylake Golf Club Wednesday 23rd September 1992

35th Annual Outing – Wed 29th July 2020

I am pleased to announce the 35th Annual outing for children in care did get the green light to go ahead and our annual trip to Southport Pleasureland took place on Wed 29th July 2020.

Despite having to operate within very stringent COVID-19 GUIDELINES, a great day was had by all for the 35th Consecutive year.

A VERY BIG THANKS to all our Sponsors and Supporters on this day, without whom this day would not have been able to happen

Liverpool Taxi Drivers Children In Care Outing Fund 35th Annual Outing 1985-2020

This year marks our 35 years of caring and fun days out for local children in care over the last 35 years we have taken children in care on many fun days out, the first one was October 1985 when we Departed From The Regal Bingo Broadway  to Blackpool illuminations, our  second one in 1986  we departed from the Liverpool Taxi Drivers Club, Cherry Lane Walton, to Frontier Land Morecambe, Where Tony  MaGlyne Spent the day fixing Reg Plunket’s Taxi to get him back to Liverpool, 1988 We made a special trip with an overnight stay to Butlins Pwllheli, where a great time was had by all.  1987,88, We went  to Southport Pleasure Land, 1989,to 2012  We went to Camalot Theme Park, During that time 2001 we went to Chester Zoo ,2002 we went to Gulliver’s World, 2003  Back to Camelot Theme Park,2004.2005.2006, 2008.2009,2010,2011,Sadly 2012  was our last visit to Camelot Them Park, 2013 we made a return back to Pleasure Land Southport  where Norman Wallis and Neil Mason, along with his wonderful catering staff,Stacey Wootton and also Albert Foster, and all the fair ride attendants have  made us more the welcome for the last seven years,1992 We made a dream trip to Euro Disney Paris when we  went by coach thanks to Mike Hughes and our Patron Mr Terry Lennaine of Mersey Mouse Tours, 18th October 2009 we made a second visit  by Air, to Euro Disney we have also made many trips to the Pantomime At The Royal Court Theatre,Epstein, St Helens, Liverpool Empire, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Chief Constables past and present, and also all the Merseyside Police Motor Cycle Outriders,  And also all Liverpool Lord Mayor’s past and present, both The Committee’s and Staff of, The Liverpool Taxi Drivers Club, and also  O S C Club for all your  much needed invaluable support, Special thanks to all Committee Members and Sponsors and also Golfers, old and new who have worked tirelessly hard selling our diaries and also organizing events  over the last 35 years raising much needed funds for children in care.
