A fantastic time was had by all with fifty children and parents left john lennon airport at 7.30 am on route Charles De Gaulle airport.

When we landed we were taken by to coaches to the explores hotel , on arrival the children went straight in to the swimming pool which was followed by an eat as much as you like  buffet, they retired to bed.

The children were up at 7 am filled themselves up with a hearty breakfast to prepare themselves for the trip to Disneyland Theme Park where all there dreams where fulfiled returning back to hotel for another eat as much you like buffet and some more time in the pool.

Another goodnight sleep was had by all. to prepare themselves for another fantastic day at Disneyland, on leaving the theme park. to prepare for the journey home to Liverpool, the children were well behaved throughout the whole trip well done

Taxi Trade Exhibition 2008

The Northwest Taxi & Private Hire Trade Exhibition at the B T Convention Centre Kings Dock Liverpool got off to a great start on Tuesday 29th July.

Not long after Mr Bernard Lawson DCC of Merseyside Police declared the show open, followed by a short speech from Bernie Buxton, the event organiser, the exhibition hall started buzzing with visitors who just couldn’t wait to get through the doors.

It was not only the private hire & cab drivers that came to the show but members of the public called in whilst visiting the Albert Dock, the new exciting Liverpool One shopping centre and many other visitor attractions that make Liverpool one of the best cities in the World

The success of the show now means that the L.T.D.C.I C.O.F. trip for local underprivileged children to Euro Disney in Paris is so much closer.

I would like to thank all the exhibitors, sponsors & visitors who contributed to make the show so successful especially Merseyside Police Mounted Division, Merseyside Fire & Rescue, Vintage Fire Brigade, Doug Cheshire of LVTA, JMU First Aid Demonstration and Bouncy Castle Hire.

I would like to thank all the taxi drivers who took the time to take the children in care to Camelot Theme Park despite the terrible rain a good day was had by all.

North West Taxi Trade Exhibition – Aintree racecourse

As last year we anticipate this event will be a great success, with a variety of exhibitors ranging from communications companies, legal advisors from insurance companies, computer hardware and software companies, new and used vehicles there will also be a large selection of spare parts to suit most vehicles plus lots more.

In addition we’ll have a selection of vintage cabs on display.

We took a group of youngsters to Camelot Theme Park in Lancashire, thanks to the assistance of Merseyside and Lancashire police.  The weather was good and the children fully enjoyed their day out.
